OLD GUNS Camp Lake Garda 12-14 June Report Ita- Eng
Si è svolto dal 12 al 14 Giugno la 4° edizione dell’OLD GUNS Camp presso il Shaka Windsurf Center in Conca d’Oro a Torbole sul Garda.
Il Camp è rivolto a partecipanti che vogliono migliorare la loro tecnica di Strambata, planata, assetto e trimmaggio materiali.
il Coach Robert Hofmann racconta: Anche se il vento non è stato al meglio siamo comunque riusciti a planare tutti e tre i giorni di Stage. Il Venerdi e il Sabato abbiamo fatto teoria sul simulatore per riuscire a imprimere nella mente i passaggi per fare la Strambata perfetta. Poi abbiamo trimmato le atrezzature e infine abbiamo sfruttato “l’Ora” sia Venedri che Sabato planando per una buona ora con vento sui 15 nodi e così migliorare la tecnica di Strambata in acqua.
Poi la Domenica mattina ci siamo dati appuntamento alle ore 8 al Shaka Surf Center per planare fino alle 9.30 con vento sui 20 nodi! Una bella esperienza per tutti e un gruppo molto affiatato! Sabato sera ci siamo poi fatti una classica mangiata “Trentina” presso l’Agriturismo “la Cantinotta”!!

From the 12th to the 14th of June the 4th Edition of the Old GUNS Camp took place at Shaka Windsurf Center in Conca d’Oro in Torbole (lake Garda).
The Camp is open to participants who want to improve their technique in jibe, planing and trimming the equipment.
Coach Robert Hofmann says: Even if the wind was not the best we still managed to plane all three days of the Stage. Friday and Saturday we did theory on the simulator to be able to simulate the steps to make the perfect jibe. Then we trimmed the equipment and then we used the local “ORA” wind on Friday and Saturday for planing a good hour with winds around 15 knots and so improve the Jibing technique on the water.
Sunday morning we arranged to meet at 8 am at the Shaka Surf Center and stayed on the water until 9.30 with winds around 20 knots! A nice experience for everybody and a very united group! Saturday evening we had the classic “Trentino food” at the “Agriturismo la Cantinotta” !!
