Settimana scorsa sono tornato in Francia (Leucate) per fare l’ultimo allenamento Speed prima di andare a tentare il record di velocità a Luderitz in Namibia.

Ho preso una buona giornata vento sui 30-45 nodi di vento e con materiale specifico da Speed (Tavola Starboard Speed Luderitz 44 e vela Loft Sails Speed 5.4 ) sono riuscito ad ottenere un altro Record personale di velocità.

La mia preparazione fisica e tecnica sta mostrando i suoi frutti e sono veramente motivato ad andare nel canale.

Intanto la giornata del 6 Ottobre segna altri record di velocità  in mare aperto con una velocità max di 48,30 nodi (89,45Km/h) su 1 sec…( 2 sec 48,18 – 89,22 km/h) e una velocita di 45,25 nodi (83,80 km/h) sui 500m e  250 m a 46,7 nodi nodi.

Tutte velocità mai raggiunte da unO Speedsurfer Italiano.

Inoltra la media delle 5 velocità sui 10 sec  con 45,33 NODI mi porta al 5° posto MONDIALE assoluto delle velocità del 2017!

Insomma sono pronto per la Namibia!!

Last week I returned to France (Leucate) to do the last Speed ​​training before going to try the speed record in Luderitz (Namibia).

I had a good windy day with 30-45 knots of wind and my Speed gear was (Starboard Speed ​​Luderitz 44 Board 2017 and Loft Sails Speed ​​5.4 – 2016) and I managed to get another PR on this day!

My physical and technical training is showing results and I’m really motivated to go into the channel.

October 6th brought me the following speeds: Maximum speed of 48.30 knots (89.45Km / h) on 1 sec and 2 sec 48.18 knots – 89.22 km / h !

45.25 knots (83.80 km / h) on the 500m course  and 46.7 knots knots on 250m.

All speeds are the fastest ever reached by an Italian Speedsurfer on open waters.

The  5 times 10 sec average with 45.33 knots brings me to the 5th place in the GPS Speedsurfing ranking 2017!

So I’m ready for Namibia !!
